The hotel was fairly clean with extremely friendly and incredibly friendly staff at reception desk. Stylish, functional room with nice views, everything was perfect. The location was magnificent and fab, right by Prague, and Loreta and the Strahov Monastery. Furthermore, close to the TRAM stop which you can take to the train station or to go elsewhere in town.

The location.
Worst stay I have had in a long time. The front desk staff was rude, the internet was down and they could have cared less and the TV and remote wern't working either.

Hotel Neruda was an excellent place to stay while exploring Prague' old town. Its close to the Castle and Charles bridge is only about 10min walk. The rooms were clean and shower great. The reception staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was really good and the ice teas served in the bar were just what was needed after a day of wandering around. I'd highly recommend it for a weekend break.

Breakfast was good. Location as well although it's not so easy to get there from airport by public transportation but using taxi is expensive.

Unexpected kindness of staff
Breakfast was a good affair with a variety of changing dishes that catered to local tastes. Staff kindness, especially when they shared stories over coffee.
Our room lacked sufficient privacy as the sheer curtains didn't offer much cover, and the noisy street made it hard to relax at times.

The design of the rooms were really really interesting. I loved how the building itself was like a little town in itself with little narrow walkways and cobbled areas. We had the best service by reception - I think her name was Mariona... she was from Tunisia and was lovely, fast, efficient and super-friendly. She made us love the hotel more.
The bath is exposed, so it's impossible to have a shower while your partner is trying to sleep. We found the rooms a little dim too.

Classy hotel in a very quiet area just next door to most tourist attractions and great restaurants, the main sights and the castle and Charles Bridge. Fab and gorgeous location to Lesser Town. Fine food in the attached restaurant in the vicinity.

This hotel was located in the older part of Prague right under the castle, with convenient access to the castle and gardens.
This hotel is comprised of several different adjacent connecting buildings, which meant we needed to take an elevator up one floor, then go up and down several stair cases to get to our room. With luggage this was not convenient, but thankfully we are still young and this wasn't a major problem. Also, our room was right at street level, so we couldn't open the windows for ventilation as people could see right in, and it was a little noisy for sleeping. (I imagine this wouldn't be a problem for the majority of rooms at this hotel)

The hotel is perched in a hilly area, surrounded by charming cobbled streets and unique galleries. Breakfast offers a good spread with pancakes, pastries, and a nice variety of fresh fruit.
The soundproofing between rooms falls short. Room temperature control is an issue. The heater seemed ineffective, and despite requests, I returned to a cold room with no extra blanket. The design of the bathroom felt impractical, with a shower head that sprayed water beyond its intended area. The jacuzzi touted as part of the spa must be booked in advance and came with extra charges. A few items within the room showed noticeable wear, especially in the bathroom, leaving an impression of neglect.
